History of Morgan County: 1878, Page 557 lists Scribner L.B. as a farmer, P.O. Waverly, Town 13 North Range 8 West
Residence: 1882, moved to a farm six miles southwest of Chanute, Kansas
Although this is somewhat unusual, but in this case true, an Ashbaugh married and Ashbaugh. Morris is at least a cousin, perhaps more distantly related and the family of this Morris Ashbaugh is being researched.
